inspiration #48: hearts & arrows {bridal musings guest post}

Good morning lovelies! I hope you all enjoyed a lovely, if rather chilly, weekend!  This weekend Mr B and I celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary with a trip to the Big Smoke (it’s only a 20 minute train ride but sometimes it’s so lovely to experience our buzzing Capital as visitors and not running to get to the next meeting on time!)  We dined at Yauatcha, enjoyed a musical, stayed in a contemporary cool hotel and were pampered in the spa!  A perfect little mini-break and lovely to just spend some time together away from our busy lives!

With weekends usually devoted to scheduling my next week’s pretty here on b.loved, I decided to get  in touch with some of my lovely wedding-y friends to come and guest post while I enjoyed a short break.  Not only did they all say yes, they have all completely exceeded my expectations in what they have provided for you this week (and knowing these ladies oh so well, my standards were already pretty high!)  So this week, I am leaving you in the very capable hands of some of my favourite wedding peeps.  Please be nice

:)

Today, I’m delighted to introduce you to the loveliest lady in blogging, Elizabeth from Bridal Musings.  Full of chic and unique, and insanely pretty wedding inspiration, ideas and advice, Bridal Musings is a must read!

Hello b.loved readers, it’s a real treat for me to guest post here today. Louise and I started our wedding blogs around the same time last year and she has been such a wonderful inspiration and support ever since.

Here’s a few things you should know about me:

- I adore weddings of the chic and unique variety.

- I’m a sucker for hearts ~ just take a peek at my logo!

- Red lipstick is my weakness (Oh and cupcakes)

So with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s the perfect excuse to indulge in all things red, white and heart shaped. Throw in a few Cupid inspired arrows, a dessert table full of sweet treats and a pure white cake with a surprise heart in the middle and you’ve got yourself one chic, unique and playful wedding theme.

Lifestyle blogger, Elsie, of A Beautiful Mess and her husband Jeremy had the most eclectically beautiful wedding inspired, in part, by hearts and arrows ~ just check out their DIY cupcake arrow toppers.

While Max Wanger, a creative photographer who uses negative space to incredible effect, and his wife Margaux, incorporated fabric hearts throughout their wedding including a delightfully rough around the edges heart topper.

And finally, no Valentine’s Day inspired board would be complete without red, sparkly heart ban.do shoe clips ~ why not use them as a quirky alternative to a floral boutonnière?

So bloved lovelies, I want to know do any of these red and white wedding ideas make your heart flutter?

Thanks so much for having me over to visit, Louise!
