sunday sweetness #19
Aah, the end of another weekend, I’m going to making the most of the few hours left until Monday that’s for sure! Tomorrow I am up bright and early to get on a train to Great Yarmouth (work, not pleasure) I’m hoping to at least catch a glimpse of the sea!
This week has been full of chatter about SOPA, with websites like Wikipedia blacking out their sites for 24 hours in protest. But what does it mean for us? Well, as wedding pro’s using other people’s media it could have a huge effect, and for brides it may mean the end of sites like Pinterest and gathering uncredited inspiration. The latest news is that the prostests this week seem to have had a positive effect, read all about it here.
In the rest of the blogosphere things have been more positive and pretty! Here are some of my favourite posts and inspirations of the week ~
inspiration
My lovely friend Sonia over at Want That Wedding must have worked her little styling socks off to put together this stunning Neon Love inspiration shoot. A little bit retro and a whole lotta fun, this shoot is stuffed with full-on inspiration!
I am completely head over heels in LOVE with this bridal fashion shoot by South African photographer Rensche Mari on Magnolia Rouge. The couple aren’t even models, but an actual real couple! Words cannot describe it’s true beauty, head over and take a look
real weddings
Michelle at Pocketful of Dreams is one lady who knows how to rock colour pop style, showcasing this cute red & blue DIY wedding this week to perfection
I adore this pretty wedding at the Smog Shoppe with yellow colour pop details from Inspired by This
advice
The lovely ladies over at Not on the High Street Weddings scooped a Wedding Ideas Award last week (an event I was lucky to attend) I’m not surprised, I’ve only ever heard good things about them! A place to find all the best small suppliers, unusual and quirky items for your gift list, and with excellent customer service, it’s easy to see why the modern bride would choose Not on the High Street. Why don’t you go ahead and check out their gift list service?
for the pro’s
This year Kat at Rock n Roll Bride has introduced the Green Room to her blog, a place for her to share her experience and advice in the wedding world. I love it. This week she’s looking at how to get the best out of wedding fairs, and as a stylist this is one of the most common questions I have been asked by pro’s! Check out her post for some great advice, and if you still need styling tips then get in touch with me at b.loved styling.
coming up this week on b.loved
Have you noticed, I’m rather obsessed with bright and colourful wedding colours so far this year? There’s at least three colour pop features in my favourites this week
I am sure more colour is going to feature in our 2012 weddings, so I’ll be sharing a new citrus scheme to get you all inspired
London and city brides will love the styled shoots I’m sharing this week from the lovely Fiona Kelly Photography, with three looks there’s bound to be something to inspire you whatever your style
There’s something about the versatility of black and white weddings that I love, two simple colours can create so many different looks. This week’s style guide is focussing on modern monochrome
I’m excited to share another of my finds from The Luxury Wedding Show, prepare to be amazed by the incredibly beautiful designs from Louise Richardson Event Stationery
