Hello brides-to-be!  Are you enjoying our travel-themed week so far? Today I’m bringing you a gorgeous love shoot from the creative & cool city of Amsterdam! A place close to my heart, after living there for a number of years, and a story just perfect for our travels this week!

This super-cute couple actually newly-weds, on a tour of Europe after their intimate courthouse wedding in Moscow.  They celebrated with friends and family with a small reception dinner, how perfect and cute is that!  Whilst getting married in Moscow may sound utterly romantic, Marina and Denis explained that in reality you can’t do a photo session in the city without a billboard or advert in the background. Deciding that Moscow wasn’t romantic for them, Denis & Marina chose Amsterdam as a city where Denis had studied and that they both loved, bringing with them some typically Dutch props, like the amazing red tulips in some of the shots!

To top it all off, they chose one of my favourite photographers, Jennifer Hejna, to capture their newly-wed bliss. Her clean, contemporary style compliments the architecture and light of this quirky city beautifully!

Would you travel to find the perfect location to capture your love on film?  An international engagement shoot would be a great excuse to celebrate your love with a weekend away and some beautifully captured memories.
